History of the Auditore family.

The best, in the opinion of many, part of Assassins creed, namely the second, celebrated its tenth anniversary this year and, having completed the next replay of the trilogy about Ezio, I decided to understand the family tree of the Auditore family, which, with great grief, I still managed to do, which is what I want to tell you about.

Ancestor.

The first known member of the family was named Domenico. He was born on the outskirts of Venice. As a teenager, he became an apprentice sailor on an old ship that carried cargo for the patron of the Domenic family, Marco Polo.

In one of the ports of Italy, where the ship called to replenish supplies, he met his future wife, with whom he had a son, Renato Auditore.

Domenico learned about the existence of the Order of Assassins at the age of 23, his father introduced him to Durante degli Alighieri who became his mentor and trained him as an assassin. In gratitude, he had to transport the teacher to Spain. However, the Templars got to him earlier. Before his death, Durante betrayed to the first Auditor the Code of Assassins written by Altair and found by Marco Polo.

Domenico and his family go to Spain the night after the teacher’s murder. On the way, they are attacked by the Templars in order to get the Codex. In the chaos of the boarding, Domenico tears up the Codex and puts it in different barrels. When his enemies find him, he says that he threw the Code overboard. For this, he and his family are sent to feed the fish, the assassin’s wife did not swim and drowned, but Domenic and Renat manage to get to the shore.

Having reached Florence, Domenico rents a room with money received from Marco Polo and leaves his son there. He goes to Venice to visit his father, but upon arrival finds him murdered. After grieving, Domenico goes back to Renat.

A few years later, he manages to get a job in court, get rich and join the circles of the nobility. That’s when he took the name Auditore. He then buys and renovates a house in Monteriggioni, where he begins to train his son.

Almost nothing is known about the fate of Renato Auditore after the death of his father, except that he had two sons – Mario and Giovanni.

Mario Auditore

The namesake of the famous plumber was born in Monteriggioni, which had already become a refuge for Auditore. From 1454 until the beginning of the ac brotherhood, it was Mario who managed the Villa Auditore. Under him, the defense in Monteriggioni was strengthened, a garrison appeared and many shops opened (and Gorky Park was greatly transformed). Due to his stubborn nature, Mario made many enemies among the Florentine nobility who were eager to take over the villa. He waged war with them for quite a long time, but having found a spy – Lunacho Pezvitti, through interrogation, he was able to find out the goal of the Florentines. The nobility, led by his nephew Rodrigo Borgia, decided to find a certain artifact located in the dungeons of Monteriggioni. Mario manages to find the artifact, which is the Apple of Eden, and defeat the Florentines. Later he gives the apple to Ezio. After which the confrontation between Ezio Auditore and Borgia begins.

Mario dies at the hands of Cesare https://nonukgamblingsites.co.uk/review/golden-genie/ Borgia while trying to hide an apple from the attackers of the villa. Cesare takes the apple and publicly shoots Mario in the head. Unfortunately, he had no children left, so after his death the commune of Monteriggioni passed to the Borgia.

Giovanni Auditore

Giovanni, like his brother, was born in Monteriggioni. At the age of 19, he moved to Florence, where he served for several years as a gonfaloniere (head of the popolani militia), and then became an employee of the Medici bank, after which he received the title “da Ferencze”.

In 1452 he meets Maria de Mozzi and marries her. During their family life, the Auditore had four children: Federico, Ezio, Claudia, Petruchio.

However, we should not forget that Giovanni was an assassin from birth and remained one all his life. Giovanni spoke about the war with the Templars to Lorenzo de’ Medici, whom he saved when he was drowning in the river, and with whom he became friends. Auditore subsequently carried out several tasks for the Medici family, strengthening friendly relations between the families.

In 1976, Giovanni was looking for the Grand Master of the Templars in Florence. Having killed his bodyguards, the assassin hesitates and Borgia manages to escape. You can learn about the future from the short film “Assassinscreed: Lineage”.

One way or another, everyone who completed Assassins creed 2 knows about the death of Giovanni Auditore. Uberto Alberti betrayed the Auditore family. His men invaded the family’s home, arrested Giovanni, Federico and Petruchio, and then locked them in the prison tower. A few hours later they were executed in the main square of the city.

Claudia Auditore

Claudia was born in 1461 and was the only daughter in the family. At the age of 13, she beat up a peer because she was jealous of her fiancé. However, despite the indignation of others, her parents did not scold her.

After the execution of their relatives, the surviving Auditore had to flee Florence; on the way they are attacked by a Pazzi detachment, but Mario comes to the rescue in time and takes Maria, Claudia and Ezio to Montirigionni. After Ezio leaves, fifteen-year-old Claudia remains in the Villa Auditore to care for her mother, who had difficulty coping with the death of her husband. She also managed Montirigionni’s finances and sent money to Ezio.

After the Borgia attack, Claudia fled with her mother to Rome, where she bought a brothel. From there she sought information for Ezio. It is thanks to her that Ezio finds Caterina Sforza. Several months later, Claudia was attacked by several people, but she killed them before Ezio could come to the rescue. After that, she was initiated into the Assassins, and a few months later she married a Roman nobleman.

Federico Auditore

Federico was Giovanni’s eldest son and was supposed to work at the Medici bank. Unlike Ezio, he knew about the Assassins and Templars and often helped his father in his affairs.

Federico loved to tease Ezio, but did not tolerate being offended by others. Federico managed to become an assassin before his death. Giovanni taught him to fight both honestly and not quite, and he, in turn, passed this knowledge on to Ezio.

When guards burst into the house to arrest Auditore, Federico tried to resist, but was severely beaten and taken into custody. The next day he was executed along with his father and younger brother.

Petruchio Auditore

Petruchio is the youngest son of Giovanni. Like Ezio, he was in the dark about his father’s secret life. The boy was born so sick and weak that he didn’t even go to school. The game never explained the reason why he collected feathers. Perhaps he did this for his mother, as described in Oliver Bowden’s book.

He was executed along with his father and older brother in 1476 at the age of 13.

Flavia and Marcello Auditore

I decided to combine them due to the lack of information.

Flavia and Marcello – Ezio’s children. Flavia was born on the way to the new house of Auditore in 1513. Marcello is a year younger than his sister, he was born in Ezio’s house in Tuscany and traveled with his family to Rome to visit Aunt Claudia.

Shortly before his death, Ezio gave Flavia the key to the chest in the basement and told him to give it to Marcello as soon as he turned 22 years old. However, his wife decided that Ezio wanted his son to become an assassin like himself and threw the key into the river.

I decided to skip Ezio due to the fact that everyone already knows everything about him, and I’m too lazy to describe the plot of three whole games.

This is all that I managed to dig up about family members, not counting a couple of people whose biography fits into just three words “born, lived, died”. This is my first blog, please don’t throw stones.
